Terms of Use

1. “Greenic Exotics” operates as an online retail store and accepts orders exclusively through its website at www.shop.greenic.lk.

2. All products available on the Greenic Exotics online store are brand new, unused, and devoid of any physical or legal defects. They have been lawfully introduced into the Sri Lankan market.

3. The prices listed on the Greenic Exotics online store do not include VAT, and therefore, VAT invoices are not issued.

4. Each purchase is shipped using a specialized courier service provided by Post. The customer is responsible for the delivery costs as indicated in the Shipping information section.

5. In cases where different items in an order require varying delivery times or specific packaging and shipping methods, Greenic Exotics reserves the right to split the order into separate shipments. However, the overall cost of shipment will remain unchanged. Should the buyer decide to cancel a portion of the order, the shipment cost may be reduced proportionally.

6. Greenic Exotics accepts the following payment methods:

– Online payment
– Credit card (Visa, MasterCard)
– Cash on Delivery*

7. The Greenic Exotics online store retains the right to limit payment methods by disabling certain options for specific products available at www.shop.greenic.lk.

8. Goods are dispatched on the first working day following the receipt of payment. Order processing usually takes between 3 to 10 days from the date of placing the order at www.shop.greenic.lk.

If there is a need to extend the order processing time, the Greenic Exotics online store will promptly contact the buyer to notify them of the delay and confirm the revised date for order completion. It’s important to note that the order completion time encompasses both order processing and shipment preparation time, in addition to the delivery time.

If payment is made via bank transfer, the delivery time will be extended to account for the transfer duration. Similarly, if payment is made by credit card, the delivery time will be extended to allow for payment authorization by the payment system.

Seeds shipments are typically delivered within 3 to 7 days by Post or courier, although the actual delivery time may vary depending on the destination region. For goods shipped using courier services, the delivery time ranges from 2 to 5 days, as specified in the shipping information section. The Greenic Exotics online store assumes no liability for any delays caused by postal or courier companies.

9. The products are covered by warranties provided by the producer, importer, or seller, which are valid in Sri Lanka.

10. In the event of nonconformity between the goods received and the description and/or contract, the customer should return the disputed goods, accompanied by a description of the complaint and a suggested resolution, to the following address: 40, Yatawatta, Matale.

11. When proposing a solution to a complaint, Greenic Exotics provides the customer with the option to receive a free replacement of the goods that comply with the contract, unless such an exchange is impossible or would involve disproportionate costs. If the store cannot rectify the complaint through an exchange, the customer has the right to demand a discount or terminate the contract.

12. The store is obligated to respond to customer complaints within two working days of receiving the complaint. The date of returned goods delivery to the store is considered the official date of the complaint. In cases where specialist research is required by a third-party company to address the complaint, Greenic Exotics may extend the response time by 14 days. If the store fails to respond to the customer’s complaint within 14 days, the complaint is considered valid and accepted by Greenic Exotics.

13. In any of the aforementioned cases that require

the delivery of a new or repaired product to resolve a complaint, the store will bear the shipping costs. Returned goods subject to a complaint must be clearly and visibly labeled or marked as “COMPLAINT.” Goods without such labeling or marking will not be accepted by our warehouse.

14. Upon receiving a shipment from a postal service or courier company, customers are advised to thoroughly inspect the package for any signs of damage during the delivery process. Greenic Exotics recommends paying close attention to the integrity of the tapes and seals securing the shipment. If a shipment arrives damaged or if the seals or tapes are broken, customers are advised to refuse acceptance, prepare a damage protocol in the presence of the courier, and promptly contact the seller (Greenic Exotics). Failure to acknowledge any damage or missing items upon receipt may adversely affect future complaints regarding goods that were damaged or stolen during delivery.

15. The Greenic Exotics online store reserves the right to refuse order completion if the customer’s record is deemed unreliable or lacks creditworthiness.

16. Customer data is collected and used solely for order fulfillment purposes. It may be shared with entities responsible for shipping the goods to customers or, in the case of installment sales, with institutions involved in the purchasing process. Customers have the right to access and modify their personal data. The submission of data is voluntary.

17. These Terms of Use outline the regulations governing the use of the Greenic Exotics online store. Placing and confirming an order signifies the customer’s acceptance of the rules and information contained in the Terms of Use.

Payment

Before making a purchase in our store, please ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the cost of the purchased items and associated delivery charges.

Accepted payment methods: Cash on Delivery, credit card, bank transfer.

Payment should be made within 4 days from the time of purchase.

Delivery

All our seeds are meticulously packaged in bubble or padded envelopes to minimize the risk of damage during transportation, such as from stamping machines.

Each package is dispatched within 2 working days following receipt of payment.

Seeds are delivered via Sri Lanka Post’s priority mail service, with an estimated delivery time of 3 to 7 working days. Other goods are delivered by a courier service, with expected delivery times ranging from 2 to 5 days.

Returns and Complaints

Buyers have the right to return purchased items within 7 days; however, they are responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

Complaints should be submitted in writing via email. Complaint letters should include the following information: buyer details (name, surname, customer ID), names of the items subject to the complaint, reason for the complaint, and, if possible, photographs of the items with visible batch numbers.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials on our website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and graphics, are protected by intellectual property rights and are the property of Greenic Exotics or its licensor.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from our website without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Greenic Exotics, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or the purchase and use of our products.

We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding the quality, accuracy, or suitability of the products offered on our website.

Amendments and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, update, or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.
